WEEK 10: Hugh wins Summer Series 2010
Congratulations to Hugh Mulhearne on winning the Summer Series. Hugh capped off a fantastic 10 weeks with another win on the final night. The series has been the most successful yet with record numbers signing on. Overall we had over 70 competitiors. A big thank you to our sponsors Tony O'Mahony Cycles for sponsoring this event. A special mention of thanks to Frank Browne and Richie Power who each week gave up their time to run this event.

WEEK 9: Hugh Mulhearne Wins
Another great turnout tonight. The rain stayed away and racing got underway shortly after 7pm. Hugh, Rory and Brian could only manage to bridge the gap to the leading group on the road, and after successfully doing this Hugh continued to ride strongly and pulled away in the closing 200 meters. Hugh was followed over the line by Eddie Keogh and in third place Brian Hallissey.
So congratulations to Hugh who is the overall winner but all other places are up for grabs next week which should make for some exciting final night racing.

WEEK 8 - Keith Kenneally Wins
WEEK 7 - Michael Keane wins
25 signed on tonight, the weather was perfect for racing - warm and very little wind!!!. Tonight the semi-scratch was determined to not get caught and cycled well together to take advantage of their time gap over the scratch. After reaching the Master McGrath the semi scrath realised they were not going to be caught and with the limit just ahead, Cian Dwyer was first to attack. Shortly after the petrol stattion Jason Collins jumped and Michael Keane and Liam Pollard went with him. They rode well up the hill, Michael taking 1st, Liam 2nd and Jason 3rd.Remeber its your best 7 results count to the overall. WEEK 6 - Hugh powers ahead to take his third win!!
We had smaller numbers tonight but the racing was still as hard if not harder than usual!! A strong scratch group cycled very strong and after missing out on points last week made sure not to miss out this week.
Hugh now leads the top of the table on 42pts with Ray Dwyer in 2nd on 38pts and joint 3rd Damian and Enda on 33pts.
Remeber its your best 7 results count to the overall.

Great racing once again saw the limit group work well together and hang on to take all the points. After 5 weeks Ray Dwyer leads on 31 points with Hugh Mulhearne on 30 and Paudie Halpin on 29 points. 5 more weeks left, lets hope we can improve on the attendance each week and make this the most succesfull year yet for the summer series. Hugh Mulhearne won tonight followed by a well faught sprint for with Martin Cullnane taking second place, Damian, third place and Ray in 4th. Ray now leads with 28pts, with Hugh in second place on 27pts.

Tonight Wednesday 5th May, our summer series got underway. 33 people signed on. With perfect weather conditions, three groups were formed and racing got underway at 7pm. Frank got the handicapping spot as all groups merged at the Esso station. First to make a move was John Horgan (Blarney CC), jumping clear, this was closed down as the scratch group moved though the group. With a sprint to the line first to make his move was David Quigley, staying away and winning the opening race of the series, closely followed by Ray Dwyer in 2nd with Michael Keane in 3rd place.
