WEEK 5
LIAM ROSSITER PYT – FRANCIS KEANE CLOSEST ON LAST NIGHT

The Liam Rossiter Predict Your Time competition came to a close last Wednesday night. On another perfect night for cycling we yet again had over 40 riders signing on. This year's PYT has been a fantastic success and reflects the growing enthusiasm for  cycling. The times being recorded and the weekly improvements are also a reflection on the training and miles that people are putting in and have given the handicapper something to think about for the Summer Series. Francis Keane came closest to his predicted time, just 7 seconds out. Hugh Mulhearne was fastest again, storming around the course in a blistering 32.45. Thanks to Enda and Eamon for keeping time. A very big Thank You to Liam Rossiter for his very generous sponsorship once again.

WEEK 4
LIAM ROSSITER PYT – BRENDAN POWER DOES THE BUSINESS

We had another magnificent turnout last week for Week 4 of the Liam Rossiter Predict Your Time league with 48 riders signing on to pit themselves against the clock. As the weeks go by the PBs are coming thick and fast as the times continue to tumble. Brendan Power proved to be the most accurate rider on the night, coming in just 2 seconds out from his predicted time. Hugh Mulhearne was the fastest on the night clocking a terrific 33:35 for the 24km course. Thanks to Tony and Benny for timekeeping. This Wednesday (27th) is the last round of the league.

Sign on is at John Foley's, Kilrush from 6:30. Remember, it's not the fastest cyclist that wins but whoever finishes closest to their predicted time. Many thanks to Liam for his generous sponsorship once again.

WEEK 2

LIAM ROSSITER PREDICT YOUR TIME – AIDAN SPOT ON

There was another massive turnout for week 2 of the Liam Rossiter Predict Your Time competition with 48 riders pitting themselves against the clock and the Whitechurch circuit. The TT specialists were out in force with last year's Munster A1 silver medallist and the A3 & A4 gold medallists in attendance. The winner on the night was Aidan McCarthy who got his timing exactly right. There were some very fast times recorded with Comeragh's David Quigley setting the fastest time. Check the club's Facebook for some more action shots. Ray and Sean Dwyer are the timekeepers for Round 3 tonight (Wednesday). Sign on is at John Foley's, Kilrush from 6:30. Remember, it's not the fastest cyclist that wins but whoever finishes closest to their predicted time. The competition will run until 27th April. Many thanks to Liam for his generous sponsorship once again.

WEEK 1

RECORD NUMBERS FOR LIAM ROSSITER PREDICT YOUR TIME
– ANTHONY STEAKS HIS CLAIM

There was a fantastic turnout for round 1 of Liam Rossiter PYT with 48 people putting themselves up against the clock. Winner on the night was Anthony Dwyer, 12 seconds out. Fastest was Hugh Mulhearne.

We had a bit of confusion with wrong and no numbers being called at the finish and a couple of people taking wrong turns but hopefully that will be sorted next week. There were some very quick times and some improvements from last year. Full results and photos are on Facebook (along with 1 or 2 other very dodgy pics). Thanks to all for supporting. Round 2 is tonight (Wednesday). Ger Wyley and Maurice Fennell are timekeepers. Sign on is at John Foley's, Kilrush from 6:30. Remember, it's not the fastest cyclist that wins but whoever finishes closest to their predicted time. The competition will run for 5 weeks with the last night on 27th April.

Many thanks to Liam for his generous sponsorship once again.
