Dungarvan Cycling Club is proud to be hosting the National time Trial championships, 2007. These championships will be held on Friday evening, June 29th, commencing at 7:00pm. Entry to these championships is by pre-entry ONLY, and entry form is available here. Please print it, complete it, and return to the secretary with your entry fee.
The following categories will be catered for:
Elite Men 34k
Under 23 Men 34k
Veterans (ladies / men) 34k
Tandem 34k
Ladies 26k
Junior Men 26k
Sign on will be from 4pm - 6pm on the day, at St. Augustine's College, Abbeyside, approximately one mile from the start point. The route is as follows: The start point is one mile east of Dungarvan on the N25. Proceed12 kms to Leamybrien. Straight through for another 4kms to McGrath's Cross (16kms). Turn left off N25, and immediate right towards Kilmacthomas. Fork on road after a further 2kms (18kms), veer right. At 20kms turn right, going under main N25 road, and up on to it. Junior and Ladies categories finish after further 6kms on main road. All other categories continue for a gurther 8kms, finishing at lay-by on left at top of the Pike Hill.
